Driving lessons are provided subject to the Terms and Conditions stated below:
1) We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays, in the event of fog, ice, snow, flooding, bad light, high winds or due to immovable traffic.
2) At least 48hr notice is requested to cancel pre-booked driving lessons. Cancellations made with less than 48hr notice will be charged at the full lesson rate.
3) All lessons must be paid for in advance by bank transfer or payment through the app. Card and cash payments are accepted by prior agreement and must be paid in advance.
4) Pre booked lesson packages may be booked at a discounted rate. In the event that any hours remain unused, a refund may be provided. In calculating the amount to be refunded, all hours already used will be charged at the standard hourly rate and not the discounted rate. If you paid any additional amount through the Total Drive app, it will not refund due to total drive APP admin charges.
 5) Unused hours from pre booked packages will expire 6 calendar months from purchase unless agreed otherwise in advance.
6) Online payments for gift vouchers expire after 6 months but can be extended if requested within the time limit.
7) Driving tests must only be booked with the agreement of the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). Booking a driving test is not a guarantee that the student will be test ready by that date.
 8) The ADI will only provide a tuition vehicle for the purpose of taking the driving test if they consider the student to be of a sufficient standard so as to successfully pass the test. If the ADI does not consider the student to be test ready, then the test date may need to be changed or cancelled. The decision of the ADI in this matter is final.
9) Practical tests can be booked through the driving school, and payment of the test fee must be made within 24 hours of the booking confirmation being issued. Not all test centres will be covered for test purposes at the moment the ADI covers MITCHAM and MORDEN test centres.
10) Students may book their own test date. However, the availability of the ADI can not be guaranteed.
11) In the event of an unsuccessful attempt, the student is required to maintain an appropriate level of practice ahead of any re-test. A schedule will be agreed upon with the ADI. Where a student does maintain the agreed level of practice, the ADI may not provide the tuition vehicle to take the re-test.
12) The driving school operates a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of bullying, harassment, and discrimination along with all forms of unreasonable behaviour. Driving lessons may be suspended or withdrawn at any time at the sole discretion of the ADI.
13) The student is responsible for obeying the Highway Code at all times and is therefore wholly liable for any fines, penalty points, or prosecution as a consequence of their driving.
14) The learner must reply to the lesson reminder text whether to continue the lesson or rebook. If the reminder text is not replied, it will be considered agreed and charged, whether taken or cancelled.
